With a diverse background in UX design, visual design, media, and education, I thrive on taking on new challenges and bringing ideas to life.
During my time at UC Berkeley, I worked as a product designer for Xiaocun Inc. This startup developed a WeChat marketplace app for international students looking to rent and buy furniture. This was my first exposure to UX design, and after it launching the app in 2019, it gained over 3,000 users at UC Berkeley, and I even put up promotional posters all over campus LOL.
This experience ignited my passion for creating products that solve real-world problems for people, and I learned that a great product must do more than look good and be easy to use — it must offer solutions to users' pain points. This realization led me to pursue a product design major at NYU and continue to create more impactful products.
I have 5+ years of experience using Figma for UX design, and 6+ years of experience using Adobe Suite and Sketch for visual design. Outside UX design, I enjoy photography, videography, and drawing as personal hobbies.

My journey extends beyond the world of design. During my tenure as the Program Director of the Berkeley Chinese Students and Scholars Association, my outgoing personality and leadership skills flourished. I organized the 2019 UC Berkeley Spring Festival Gala, a remarkable event that drew over 1,000 attendees and garnered 800,000 online viewers. I also orchestrated 'Game of Hunting,' a job fair attended by over 500 UC Berkeley students and numerous global companies.
These experiences have endowed me with a unique perspective and exceptional communication skills. Furthermore, my minor in Education has cultivated an empathetic viewpoint, aligning perfectly with my role in the UX and product design field, where understanding the user is paramount.
